Due to the overwhelming demand and to give the best guest experience, we have gone to a reservation only system. Please book your lift tickets and rentals online at cataloochee.com. In order to purchase a rental, you must purchase a lift ticket as well. If you do not see the time or day you are looking to purchase that means we are sold out. Once we are sold out online, we will not be accepting walk-up guests.
* Currently, we are only scheduling reservations up to two weeks in advance from the current date. (example: tickets for 2/15/21 will not be available until 2/1/21).

Your lift ticket time starts when it is first scanned at the lift, NOT at time of purchase (example: a 4 hour lift ticket being first scanned at 10:00am is good until 2:00pm).

ViewOpenDue to the Covid 19, our new normal ski day begins at 10:00 AM and goes to 1:00 PM for the day. With limited lodge facilities this season, the discovery Ski Education Foundation (DSEF) believes the single session will better suit the program this year. Please bring snacks.
If you are interested in signing your child up for the program, we meet in the ski school area, right below the Discovery Race Team building, directly west of the beginner chair. (DSEF) is accepting walk ups, but please consider registering online.
Face coverings will be required at the meeting place, in the lift lines, and when on the lifts. Neck gaiters are recommended..
Kids will ride up double on the triple chairs to provide a buffer between them. For the double chairs, we will attempt to ride single where possible.
Chair partners will be rotated within each team to minimize exposure.
We will be sending out a weekly COVID screening tool email to get parent confirmation that their kids are not sick or have not been exposed before they attend the next lesson.
We understand that these are trying times for all of us. We know if we get everyone following these new procedures, we can get through this winter and hopefully have some well-deserved fun on the mountain.
